Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Quiltvale (com.ruicodex.quiltvale), published by RuiCodex, handles data. In short: the game has no account, shows no ads and keeps your quilts on your device. The only outside service it talks to is the app store, for purchases.
Data stored on your device
Quiltvale saves the following only on your phone or tablet, in the app's private storage:
- your progress: the quilt you are sewing, the finished quilts in your album, your tailor rank, the biomes, patches and folk you have unlocked, challenge thimbles, Pattern Fair rosettes and personal records;
- your settings: sound, music, vibration, reduced shake, quilt fabric and language;
- the purchases you own (so the game knows which fabric sets, expansions and patron thimbles are yours);
- a local log of gameplay events (for example a quilt started or finished or a wish granted, with its score and counts), used only on the device;
- the feedback notes you write in the game (the last 50).
None of this is sent to us. The game has no account and never asks for your name, e-mail address, contacts, photos or location.
No ads, no tracking
Quiltvale contains no advertising. It includes no advertising SDK, does not read your device's advertising identifier (Android advertising ID or iOS IDFA), does not track you across other apps or websites and sends no analytics to us or to anyone else.
Purchases
Fabric sets, biome expansions, patron thimbles and the Full Sewing Chest are one-time purchases processed by Google Play (or Apple's App Store on iOS). We never receive your payment details. The game only stores which products you own; Settings > Restore purchases asks the store again. The connection to the store is the only reason the game uses the internet.
Sharing a quilt
When you tap Share on a quilt in your album, the game draws a picture of that quilt (with its biome and score) and hands it to your device's share menu. The game sends nothing by itself: where the picture goes is up to you and the app you pick.
Feedback
When you send an Unpick Note (from the sewing basket, from Settings or from the pause flap), the game opens your own e-mail app with a message to info@ruicodex.com. It contains the text you wrote, the category you picked and, to help us fix problems, the game version, platform and OS version, the game language, your tailor rank, the number of quilts you have finished, the names of your last 20 gameplay events and, if you are in a quilt, its biome, mode, score, patches left and the quilt's seed and moves, so that we can replay the problem. Nothing is sent unless you send that e-mail yourself. We receive your e-mail address as the sender and use it only to reply.
Ratings
If the game shows a rating request, it is the store's own review window. The game stores no review data and never rewards a rating.
Keeping and deleting data
Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game. Settings > Reset progress erases your quilts and ranks (your purchases stay yours). Feedback e-mails are kept only as long as needed to handle them and are deleted on request. We do not sell or share personal data. Data exchanged with the store is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Children
Quiltvale is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the Turkish KVKK and similar laws you may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, or object to its processing. Because the game keeps your data on your device, most requests are answered by the steps above; for anything else write to info@ruicodex.com. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
